Winter Retreat
All women are invited to St. John’s Women of Faith Second Annual Winter Day of Prayer and Reflection to be held at the Martha House on Friday, January 20, 2012 (Snow date January 27, 2012). The day begins with a light breakfast during registration from 8:45 to 9:30. Mary Lou Rosien will be talking about Managing Stress with the Help of Your Catholic Faith. She will be signing her book by the same name (available for purchase) at the end of the retreat. A Day Of My Own Retreat
April 2012 - A Day of My Own is on the third Thursday of every month during the school year. This day is offered to you to come and just “be”! Read, pray, walk, rest, and have lunch with us. Arrive any time after 9:00 and depart by 3:00. Offering is $15.00 and includes lunch. Mass is offered at 9:15. (click here for web site info)

Women of Faith
Ladies, Here are some ideas we decided as a group at our meeting last week. Please feel free to express your interest in any of these activities, to invite a friend, to volunteer to help and to show up at the last minute if you can.
February - Baking at the Martha House on a Saturday in February or March. More information to follow within the next several weeks. Soup Luncheon, Wednesday, February 29, 2012. More information to follow.
March – St. Joseph Table on March 19th. (Monday this year). Set up on Sunday after GIFT.
St. Joseph was……the foster father to Jesus……a husband to Mary ………a humble carpenter……a faith-filled role model. Join us as we celebrate the life of St. Joseph in a traditional sharing meal featuring……Traditional St. Joseph Table; Italian Meatless Dishes; St. Joseph Bread and Italian Desserts. Bring a favorite meatless Italian dish to share and spend some time with us! Bring your family and friends with you too! We ask that you bring enough to feed your group and 6-10 others too. This Celebration will take place on Monday, March 19, 2012 @ Noon, St. John the Evangelist Church In the School Building, Martha Street, Spencerport, NY 14559
